How to Develop a Powerful Mindset

How do we develop a powerful mindset? How do we allow our mind to lead and guide us to do amazing things in this life? These are questions that we must answer to understand how success is achieved in anything today. Most people are not aware how powerful and amazing our mind is. The steps taken to develop a powerful mindset are the following: focus on the one, take it personal, see the future, and lead the pack.
FOCUS ON THE ONE
The "one" is you. Believe in yourself and understand that you are a unique, talented creature that has something to offer to this world. Use your great mind to create a positive attitude about you and the experiences that you have encountered. Realize that you are here on this earth for a specific purpose, and to make a difference. Your mindset will begin to develop and transform you into the person you have dreamed of becoming, the one in control and ready for success.
TAKE IT PERSONAL
The next step in developing a powerful mindset is committing yourself to grow through personal development. Personal Development icon, Jim Rohn, said it this way, "learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job." The study of personal development takes commitment and discipline, and it is a life long journey. In order for you to change how you think, you need to embrace new ideas and new thoughts. This will lead to a shift in mindset that leads to change and growth within you, preparing you for greater relationships and accomplishments in the future.
SEE THE FUTURE
Another step in the getting that powerful mindset that you and many other people desire, is to visualize yourself already in possession of that mindset. Daily visualization of a particular state of the mind, will eventually produce the reality that you are trying to accomplish. The Bible says, "without a vision, the people perish." Remember Napoleon Hill, see it, believe it, and achieve it. Create and operate in that powerful mindset that will catapult you to great heights.
LEAD THE PACK
The last step in developing a powerful mindset is, being the leader that people are searching for. People are searching for someone that they like, and that they can trust. A leader in this category has set themselves apart from the masses because they are confident, passionate, and disciplined. By putting themselves out there, they have developed a mindset that attracts others and classifies them as a 3% leader with a powerful mindset. Lead the pack and never look back.
So, if you believe in yourself and know who you are, if you have committed to the study of personal development, if you see yourself as being more than you are, and if you are in that small percentage of leadership that most people are searching for, you are well on your way to developing and maintaining a powerful mindset that will lead you to the success and happiness you desire, along with others who have chosen to emulate you.

The Essential Element in Your Personal Strategic Plan

our purpose or your mission in life provides you with a sense of direction and focus. It is the essential element in your personal strategic plan. If you are without a mission you are like a boat adrift in the sea without any wind at your sails. The waves or life events just rocks your boat from side to side.
Clarify Your Mission
To clarify a mission for yourself you must first clarify your values and be certain of what rocks your boat. As an example, if you value lifelong learning and personal development, then your life will reflect that both in your occupation and personal life.
To expand on this further, consider someone who has retired and has a substantial pension whereby he can construct his day in whatever way he chooses. If that individual values personal development and lifelong learning, instead of lying around all day and letting his brain deteriorate, he would endeavor to learn something new, perhaps do some writing, join an organization, and make a contribution to society.
Have a Set Definite Objective
If you value the life a life of riches and living a life of luxury, you must have a set definite objective - - that is of becoming rich. It will be necessary to set a dollar amount that you want to achieve by a certain date, such a focus will provide you with a mission or a purpose to your life. You will need to envision this mission, embed it in your subconscious mind and let your actions be guided by this mission.
This particular focus will require you to set aside certain pleasures, or fleshly desires, in the interest of realizing this mission. An athlete who is devoted to becoming the best in his profession will practice his craft relentlessly, often at the expense of hanging out with his friends or playing video games. If he has the natural abilities and willingness to put in the work, he will not only rise to the top, but his income will also rise to meet his expectations.
Consistently Learn and Improve
If you are in sales, you must not only know your product in and out, but consistently study the sales process itself and how to identify the elements in the sales process that would best sell the product to your customers. Beyond that you must identify the characteristics of your best customer and the best approach to engaging and selling this customer. And finally, you must set some sales goals, broken out into a monthly basis, and begin your effort.
And for a final illustration, let's say you want to be a great parent for your children. In this effort you must learn the unique differences in your children, conscientiously identify their strengths, and consistently praise their efforts in mastering academic tasks, carrying out household chores, and establishing healthy relationship with their peers.
Overall whatever your mission is in your life, once established, it will give you a focus that will help you to set priorities, and live a life worth living. You can then look back and be proud of your accomplishments as you continue your journey.

How To Become The Person You Want To Be

I've got a bit of news for you.

That version of you, the previous one, the one you keep referencing, is old news.
If you're spending time reminiscing about who you were before, identifying with that version of yourself, then you are seriously limiting who you can become.
Who you were and what you did last year, last decade, or even last night is no more.
Often we draw from our past to describe ourselves in the present, when that might not be who we are today, or more importantly who we want to be today.

In order to transform yourself into who you want to become, you've got to drop your attachment to the details of before – unless of course you'd like them to continue.

Do you find yourself saying things like:
"Oh, I've worked at the X,Y,Z company for 20 years and have my own business on the side (but I'd like to leave that company and work for myself fulltime)."
"I've been coaching and consulting for 10 years (but I'd really like to expand my focus)."
"I've got an MBA and used to be a manager for a big-wig law firm but now I'm a health and fitness consultant."
When you frame everything with who you used to be (or where you used to work) instead of speaking exclusively about who you are now and what you're working toward, you shackle yourself to the past.
This does not serve you.

It's time to toss out those antiquated ideas you have about yourself and look excitedly inward and forward to identify who you really are.
You have the power to redefine yourself.
You are the creator of your life and the part you play in it.
Speaking of play, let's play a game.

Take a moment to quiet your mind and focus. Then answer these questions:
  • Who are you today?
  • Who are you becoming?
  • What excites you about your life at present?
  • What thrills you about your vision for the future?
  • What feelings are your favorites? Joy, laughter, accomplishment? What else?
  • How do you cultivate those feelings in your life today? Can you create a list?(Hint: Keep doing those things)
Spend some time bathing in the sweetness of the emotions you just cultivated.
Now ask yourself again:

What do you like about who you are today?

What excites you about who you are becoming?

Do this exercise daily until you find yourself routinely paying attention to the positive aspects of where you are now and what you're building.
Start describing yourself in terms of the person you are becoming. You don't have to say them aloud to anyone else, but begin to speak to yourself in those terms.
Begin to identify what you want to accomplish and then start communicating as though it's already appeared.
Tap into a vision for yourself that stirs those positive emotions you cultivated during the exercise above. Just be sure the vision you choose elicits a feeling of excitement and positive anticipation, not lack or impatience.
The future is yours to construct. It is a blank slate.
Start creating that wonderful future now. Start here. Start today.
Start with looking inward and asking "Who do I want to become?"
Then speak as though you already are.
Who are you becoming?

Even your biggest heroes were unknown before they started

Even your biggest heroes were unknown before they started.
Everyone starts somewhere. It doesn’t matter where you start. Some people start with better opportunities than others. Some people start with less but the fact is all the people that you have heard of are people who started. They started as unknowns and they built their success from that. This is how they became our hero’s.
When you develop self-belief you are able to dream- -These dreams turn into events and opportunities to make those dreams real. This vision is born in the mind and developed in the mind first before it can appear in the world.
Think about your biggest heroes and think about what they had to overcome to achieve the status that they did. Think about how they were able to do this. This is a key part of becoming self-empowered. This is a key part in living the dream. Learning to focus on having something that seems far, far away is the key. Developing this is not an easy task, but then, what in life is?
What did our heroes learn?
Learning to do something new almost always takes time and effort. The results may not be what you wanted them to be. What this really means is that you haven’t convinced yourself that the impossible is possible yet. Your sub-couscous still thinks that you can’t achieve it. This is where the commitment to success has to take root. This is where the vision has to be practiced and made strong. Each day you need to tell yourself that you are going to achieve your goal. Each day you have to build that belief that you can accomplish it. The stronger your self-belief- - the bigger the results.
You have read many stories of your heroes struggling to succeed and you think to yourself, “How could anyone say no to that person”. It is amazing that some of our hero’s found the strength and belief to keep going but they had a vision and that vision was undoubtedly attainable for them.
Most things don’t happen overnight.- -Life is a journey and it is to be enjoyed in each moment throughout the journey. Every step you take toward your goal is one step closer your journey’s end.
The problem is that a lot of people take the first few steps and as soon as they stumble they decide that it is too hard and give up. If you don’t convince your subconscious that you will succeed then when you stumble it will feel like you should quit. You get the result that you expect. The key is to expect nothing but what you envisioned.
When you are armed with this self-empowerment you gain a confident that no matter what happens you will find a way to succeed. This is what our heroes knew. They knew that they would draw the things and situations needed to succeed.
Their vision will come to be in the real world. Before you knew who your heroes were they knew where they were going and they stayed focused on it.
They taught themselves to believe.

Knowing How the Subconscious Mind Works: The Key to Success

Everything that happens in our life is influenced by how the subconscious mind works.
But not everyone knows how they can use this power of the mind to help themselves achieve success in about everything they do.
Some just go through life by relying on the outcomes of their plans, most of which are failures, without trying to use the power they have.
If you have goals to achieve or things that you desire, you can be triumphant in possessing or achieving whatever it is by knowing how the subconscious mind works then try to use it.
But before anything else, you must be asking: What is the subconscious mind?
First you must know that the mind is divided into two: the conscious and the subconscious.
The conscious mind is the part responsible for all thoughts that you are currently aware of. This is the part that's working when you're making decisions, deductions, and other thinking processes involving reason and logic.
The subconscious, on the other hand, is basically the part of the human mind that consists of a person's beliefs and habits. These are the thoughts that are integrated into the mind long before, usually at childhood.
Your childhood experiences basically lay the foundations for your thoughts, beliefs and habits you carry through your life. They create what is sometimes referred to as 'your map of reality'. What you see, hear, feel and experience during the early years is continually being imprinted on your subconscious mind. All this information is then processed and used to create your very own external reality.
Let's say for example, your parents constantly told you as a child that life was a struggle and money was always scarce. Repeated enough times, this kind of information will become part of your subconscious programming.
As you progress through life this programming will keep playing out time and time again, meaning that your life experiences will be that befitting to struggle and scarcity. Get the idea on how the subconscious mind works?
The good thing however, is that you can erase and re-write the childhood programs that are held deep within your subconscious mind.
Below I've included some simple methods you can start using today to slowly reprogram your subconscious so you can begin savouring more and more success in your life.
1. Integrate your Goals/Ideas into the Subconscious
When you have a goal for example, to be a doctor, or professional athlete you should picture yourself being like one, repeatedly every day.
The goal is to incorporate the idea that you will, one day, become a doctor or professional athlete, into your subconscious mind.
Doing this repeatedly will slowly but surely change your programmed beliefs which will power you on to achieving success with this particular goal.
2. Make Requests to your Subconscious Mind
The subconscious mind doesn't rest. It continually works even at sleep.
Making requests to the subconscious is done by affirming out loud the things you want to have, do and be and then visualizing them just before you go to sleep.
For example, you want to become a professional public speaker, but you're afraid that you lack the confidence and ability to speak in front of hundreds or thousands of people.
Close your eyes, and speak out with emotion "I am a confident, captivating and inspiring speaker", and then imagine yourself walking out on stage in an auditorium of thousands of people and speaking to them with supreme confidence and fluency.
Do this every time prior to going to sleep and the power of your subconscious mind will pick up your request and will slowly and surely find the ways and means for you to achieve and realize this goal.
How your brain works can be really powerful. The brain does not only let you analyze things but it can also shape your character and beliefs.
But its understanding how the subconscious mind works that is the real key to a successful life.
Put simply it's the engine which runs your whole life. The number one determinant to where your destiny lies.
Learn how to use it properly and you literally can achieve success without really having to try very hard.

How to Grow From Failures

Success and failures are preeminent part of our lifespan. They can drop us in the valley of grief and happiness depending on the situation. But how to deal with these circumstances is the most important aspect about everybody should be aware of. Many people think that being a failure everything is ended and nothing left.
No! Here the life starts. This is the phase that is full of new flavor.
What you need to recognize is:
Failure is your new weapon to win the battle and to reach the destination.
Failures are the steps toward success. You have to climb all of them. Don't just give up there are bunch of cheeriness on the other side and you have to reach there.
There is no gigantic philosophy in success. Failures will show you more precise path towards success.
What you have to do:
You just need to focus on "what you are" and "where you are".
The basic rule that you should keep in your mind is "Understanding" and "Plan". Every success can certainly be achieved with plan and understanding.
If you follow above points they will lead you towards your failure spots and you can easily lookout and identify your all mistakes. After that you need a plan and you have to overcome those mistakes. In your next attempt by removing those mistakes you can make more points in success. May be those points you cannot achieve in first attempt.
Another example: If you are running and you want to reach on a marked line but you don't reach. Next day you tried again, you reached closer but still failed. You are trying again and again and at last you reached the marked line. Now what happened here? You don't know that on the screen you was failing again and again but behind the screen your stamina was becoming more and more heavy-duty. Now you can win any race if you have a strong stamina.
So failures are playing a very important role towards your success. If you want to achieve high goals then maybe you have to pass the phases of failures which will motivate you on the way to a new day. Now let your all stress to be finish and understand all the scenarios. Be motivated and be strong. You can do it. You can achieve the success, it is just right in front of you. Just enhance your understanding, learn from failures and create a perfect plan.

Top Habits of Motivated People

Many unsuccessful people are not necessarily unsuccessful, they simply have not found their strengths within their natural abilities yet. People become highly motivated when they find their purpose in life. Everyone has a burning drive inside of them. For some, they need to learn from others to find it. For others, the drive comes naturally and pushes them to do great things.
Following is a list of what naturally, highly motivated people do differently and what they can teach us.
1. They don't dwell on adversity.
Highly motivated people don't dwell on problems. If they mess up on a speech in public, fail a test, or do something embarrassing, they don't try to push it away. They don't let their mistakes stop them from achieving their goals. They learn from their experiences, good or bad, and move on towards the goal.

2. They read, A LOT.
Highly motivated people are always learning. Reading allows one to take in the knowledge of some of the smartest people who have ever lived. Highly motivated people don't spend much time watching reality TV - they do, however, spend their time reading.

3. They focus on goals and dreams.
Highly motivated people are always working for something. They know what they want, and they search for ways to achieve it.

4. They are grateful.
Being grateful keeps us humble. There is no room for the ego in an inspirational, motivational life. Try to write down 5 things you are grateful for every day.

5. They are not restricted by limits.
Highly motivated people are driven to go above and beyond; they are trusted by others, focused, and have great confidence in their own abilities.

6. They look at the upside.
Instead of focusing on what's NOT working and bad experiences-which so many of us tend to do-they instead focus on what IS working and their successes.

7. They are authentic.
They are true to themselves, despite what others think. They don't live their lives solely to please others.

8. They don't give up.
When they stumble over that proverbial bump in the road, they analyze the problem, come up with a plan, take action, and overcome it.

9. They don't blame others.
They never blame others for their failures. They understand that ultimately they alone are in charge of their actions and choices and no other.

10. They surround themselves with motivators.
Their friends are those who are trustworthy, positive, supportive, and are people who bring out the best in them, unconditionally.

11. They surround themselves with motivational and inspirational stimuli.
Books, video, music, art, nature, in short, anything that brings and sustains positive energy.
In closing, we leave you with one final motivational and inspirational quote:
"You can do anything you wish to do, have anything you wish to have, be anything you wish to be."

STAY MOTIVATED!
