7 Wealthy Mentalities of Successful People

Article source: 7 Wealthy Mentalities of Successful People

There are no substitutes if you want to accomplish your lofty goals.
Everyone wants to be successful. Most want to be wealthy. So why don’t we ever end up getting there? Although most of us face detours to our big dreams, it’s typically not external factors keeping us from achieving our dreams. It’s internal barriers that stop us.
If you want to build wealth and be successful, you first need to have the right mentalities.

1. Goals are golden.

It’s no secret there’s a positive correlation between setting goals and overall productivity—professionals who have a measurable goal to work for are far more productive than those who are just “winging it.” But being goal-oriented and treating goals as “golden” is about more than just setting them in the first place. You have to treat them as a major priority, making heavy sacrifices to achieve them and breaking them down into smaller chunks when necessary. Creating your goals is just the first step of the process—you also need to have the follow-through to make them count.

2. The future is more important than the present.

This concept, from a subjective standpoint, is debatable. You could easily argue that living “in the moment” is more important than worrying about the future, but people who are future-oriented, that is to say, people who make decisions based on future payoffs, are far more likely to be successful. Future-oriented people aren’t afraid to make short-term sacrifices if it means a long-term gain, and they aren’t tempted to engage in momentary pleasures that would rob them of some future payoff. Their future selves are the main priority.

3. Failure isn’t a bad thing.

The fear of failure permeates our society and it leads millions to live their lives in complacency. For example, you’re working in a job you hate with a pay and advancement ceiling. You have the option to quit and start your own business, but you’re so afraid of failing that you never give it a real shot. Failure is always a possibility and as a society we need to stop decrying it. Successful people see failure as a necessary step of the process and a valuable learning opportunity. Moreover, few plans are executed smoothly—how you handle them when they go wrong is more important than when they go right.

4. Opportunities exist everywhere.

Opportunities arise when you least expect them. They may take the form of hidden strengths in an idea you were about to toss, or a potential partnership with a stranger you met in a coffee shop. When you adopt the mindset that opportunities truly exist everywhere, in every moment of every day, you’ll be on the lookout for them. By that virtue alone, you’ll discover more opportunities for yourself, and you’ll end up earning far more value in your life.

5. Calculated risks are important.

Risks are scary, but without them, there’s substantially less room to grow. Studies suggest that the wealthiest, most successful professionals of our time are ones who weren’t afraid to take a calculated risk—they went against the grain, gambled on an idea they thought was worth the investment and weren’t afraid to stake possible sacrifices. If you aren’t taking any risks, you aren’t making the move toward possible rewards, and, of course, without the rewards, you’ll never get anywhere.

6. Consistency is good, until it becomes prohibitive.

This is a complicated mental state to try and achieve, but it’s an important one. For the most part, consistency is incredibly important. For example, if one of your goals is to accrue wealth through investments, you have to invest a certain amount of money every month or you’ll lose momentum. However, there’s a point at which consistency does more harm than good—when it starts to lead you down the wrong path, such as when you’ve developed a bad habit or an unproductive routine. It’s hard to spot when these “bad” kinds of consistency crop up, but you’ll need to closely watch for them.

7. Nothing is ever perfect.

Accepting the reality that nothing is perfect helps you in countless areas. You won’t be as worried about taking risks. You won’t be as hesitant about starting a new project. You won’t be as deterred when something goes wrong, or when you overlooked a major flaw. You won’t find yourself perpetually waiting for the “perfect” time to launch a product, and you won’t abandon your goals just because you didn’t achieve them in the way you first expected.
It’s not easy to achieve these mentalities. Don’t expect to adopt them instantaneously. You’ll most likely have a hard time accepting some of them, especially if they conflict with your inherent and learned views of the world. But if you can slowly integrate them into your ongoing mental state and accept their maxims as truth, you’ll start making better decisions and forming habits that will one day lead you to the success you’ve always dreamed of. Remain patient and never stop moving forward.

13 Ways to Take Care of Yourself Every Day

I found this great article on success.com. My favourite is number 12, what's yours?

_______________________________________________________
Don’t get stuck in an unhealthy daily grind. Here’s how to work “me time” into your busy schedule.
It’s 7:30 a.m. and your alarm is blaring. Squinty-eyed, you reach for your phone, fumbling to swipe that horrible noise off, sinking back into the mattress, your eyes fading to black again… until you shoot straight up, eyes wide open, realizing you’ve already pushed snooze three times. You’re late. So you bolt out from under the covers and, like a blur, get dressed and go to work.
You’re at the office (finally), and a million emails have rudely generated in your inbox, so you start shooting off responses, only to reply to the ones that come back seconds later. You only get up when nature calls and your stomach yells for food. Another blur and it’s already dark. Time to climb back under the covers…
Sleep, wake up, work. And repeat. That’s a daily grind that will have you burning out the next time your alarm goes off. There’s more to life than work. How can you make sure you’re getting a healthy dose of “me time”?

We asked the Young Entrepreneur Council, “What is one thing you can do every day to take care of yourself, before your work?” to find out.

1. Set specific time slots when you don’t work.

Focusing on work is a great excuse for not taking care of yourself. I have set specific time slots where I won’t work and will instead spend time on my family and me. These slots are first thing in the morning (before 8 a.m.) and dinnertime (5 to 8 p.m.). Except for events I must attend, these slots are sacred times for me to spend with my family and not work. Setting this up has been life-changing.
—Joshua Dorkin, BiggerPockets

2. Start your day off with meditation.

I start every morning with a short 5–10-minute meditation using an app called Beditations. The meditation helps me visualize the things I’m most grateful for and allows me to minimize negativity and distractions. I find that early morning meditation increases my self-awareness and helps me put into perspective what really matters. I also tend to be much more positive, energetic and happy.
—Kristopher Jones, LSEO.com

3. Work out.

I get up early most mornings and head to a free, outside workout called F3. Aside from obvious health benefits, it clears my mind and gets me in touch with the outdoors and in the company of good friends to start the day.
—John Dillard, Big Sky Associates, Inc

4. Get enough ZZZs.

The scientific benefits of sleep are innumerable. More sleep equates to more happiness, better health and improved decision-making. Not to mention that it detoxes the brain. In order to do your best work, it’s critical to consistently recharge your batteries.
—Ryan Stephens, Ryan Stephens Marketing

5. Write a poem.

It sounds silly, random even, but this is something I’ve done every day that has dramatically reduced my stress while simultaneously opening my mind to many details in the world and opportunities that I would not have otherwise noticed. Start your day by writing a poem—even something as simple as a haiku.
—Matthew Manos, verynice

6. Keep a journal.

Life is very busy. My journal is in bullet-form so I can jot down things I did, people I met, how I felt, etc. It’s been a great outlet to help me be present, remember the little moments and sort out challenges in both my personal and professional life.
—Kate Levenstien, Cannonball Productions

7. Talk to friends and family.

Your friends and family are your biggest supporters. Even if you are having a very stressful and busy day, pick up the phone for a few minutes just to say hi to Mom or your best friend, and just talk about the good things that are happening in their lives. It will keep you grounded.
—Faraz Khan, Go Direct Lead Generation

8. Wake up slowly.

It’s not unusual for me to answer 10 to 15 emails before even getting out of bed in the morning. But starting the day off like this often sets a negative tone for the day, and truthfully most issues can wait. I’m learning that I’m much happier when I take 30 to 45 minutes to wake up slowly and shower before checking email.
—Jesse Lear, V.I.P. Waste Services, LLC

9. Read something fictional.

Refresh your mind by taking an afternoon break from your workflow and escaping to another world. Reading fictional stories stimulates the right side of your brain, sparking creative thought. That stimulation can make your day go a little smoother by thinking differently, solving problems in abstract ways and, most importantly, rejuvenating your soul.
—Mark Krassner, Knee Walker Central

10. Do yoga.

I have always been a very active person. I played water polo, swam, surfed, tried every sport out there. But in the last few years I started doing yoga a few days a week and it has changed my life. It’s the only place my phone is completely off and my mind is focused on myself only—no clients, employees or projects. It’s the easiest way to reset your mind and body in 60 minutes.
—Torrey Tayenaka, Sparkhouse

11. Listen to a podcast.

I find that one of the best practices to get fresh air and stimulate my brain is simply to take a walk and listen to a podcast with the podcast app that now comes standard on the iPhone. Do yourself a favor and listen to something non-business-related. For a little health or mindfulness, my favorites are Bulletproof Radio and Buddhist Geeks.
—Matt Wilson, Under30Experiences

12. Put yourself on your schedule.

When you put yourself on your schedule, you won’t have meetings and appointments that prevent you from taking care of yourself. I prefer to put myself as my first appointment of the day to make sure I don’t get caught up in the day and decide to skip out on important things that keep me grounded, like exercise and meditation.
—Natalie MacNeil, She Takes on the World

13. Make time for play.

Before becoming a father, I would have given an answer like many others: workout, meditate, yoga, etc. These are all exceptional ways to nurture yourself. After becoming a father, the greatest joy I can experience is playing with my children. It’s like taking that deep refreshing breath of sea air after a hard workout, but better.
—Derek Fitzpatrick, Ios Optics

Developing Your Personal Philosophy

Rohn: 7 Tips for Developing Your Personal Philosophy

Your philosophy is the greatest determining factor in how your life works out. This is how to build a meaningful one.

August 9, 2015
Jim Rohn was broke at 25 and a millionaire by 31. How does an Idaho farm boy make it to Beverly Hills? This is how…
At 25, there was nothing in my bank and I needed to provide for my family. As I was considering what to do, I met John Earl Shoaff, a wealthy entrepreneur who became my employer for the next five years. He revolutionized my life and taught me the importance of developing my personal philosophy, to look for those few things that make the most difference and to spend most of my time doing those things. It isn’t a complex or mystical process but a principle that can make a difference in how your life turns out.
While there are many puzzle pieces for success, without developing a sound philosophy the other pieces are of little value. So as you go forward on this journey toward success, remember to:
1. Set your sail.
The winds of circumstance blow upon all of us. We all have experienced the winds of disappointment, despair and heartbreak, but why do people arrive at such different places at the end of the journey? Have we not all sailed upon the same sea?
The major difference isn’t circumstance; it’s the set of the sail, or the way we think—it’s what we do after we’ve set our sails and the wind decides to change direction. When the winds change, we must change. We have to struggle to our feet and reset the sail in a manner that will steer us in the direction of our own deliberate choice. The set of the sail, or how we think and how we respond, has a far greater capacity to destroy our lives than any challenges we face. How quickly we respond to adversity is far more important than adversity itself.
The great challenge of life is to control the process of our own thinking.
2. Learn from success and failure.
The best way to establish a new and powerful personal philosophy is to objectively review the conclusions you’ve drawn about life. Any conclusion you’ve drawn that isn’t working for you could be working against you. The best way to counteract misinformation and wrong data is to input new and accurate information. Gather information from personal experience. If you’re doing something wrong, evaluate what you did wrong and change things.
Seek an objective, outside voice about how you are and what you’re doing. An objective opinion from someone you respect can lead you to early and accurate information about your decision-making process. Listen to the freshness of an outside voice—someone who can see the forest and isn’t lost in the trees.
Observe the successes and failures of other people. If people who failed were to give seminars, it would be helpful. You could see how people mess up and you wouldn’t do what they did. Past failures and errors prompt us to amend current conduct so we don’t replicate the past.
Study from people who do well. Each of us should be in a constant search for people we admire and respect and whose behavior we can model. It’s far better to deliberately choose the people we will permit to influence us than to allow bad influences to affect us without our conscious choice.
3. Read all you can.
People from all walks of life who’ve had some of the most incredible experiences have taken the time to write of these experiences so we can be instructed and amend our philosophies.
The contributions of other people enable us to reset our sails based upon their experiences. Books offer treasures of information that can change our lives, fortunes, relationships, health and careers for the better.
There are two books you need to read to build your philosophy: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason.
4. Keep a journal.
A journal is a gathering place for all of our observations and discoveries about life. It’s our own handwritten transcript that captures our experiences, ideas, desires and conclusions about the people and the events that have touched our lives. The past, when properly documented, is one of the best guides for making good decisions.
The very act of writing about our lives helps us think more objectively about our actions. Writing tends to slow down the flow of information and gives us time to analyze and ponder the experience. The intense scrutiny of journal writing can enable us to make refinements in our philosophy that are truly life-changing.
Jot down what you learn and be a buyer of empty books. It’s the small disciplines that lead to great accomplishments.
5. Observe and listen.
Pay attention during your day, watch what’s going on. Surround yourself with people you respect and admire. Find people whose personalities and achievements stimulate, fascinate and inspire you, and then strive to assimilate their best qualities. This is called the skill of selecting. Don’t waste your time on the silly and the shallow.
One of the major reasons people don’t do well is because they keep trying to get through the day while a more worthy cause is to get from the day. We must become sensitive enough to observe and ponder what is happening around us. Be alert. Be awake. Often the most extraordinary opportunities are hidden among seemingly insignificant events.
Be a good listener. Find a voice of value and stay for a while. With so many voices vying for your attention, you need to develop the skill of selective listening and only dial into the radio station that appeals to you. If a voice is not leading to the achievement of your goals, exercise caution in how long you listen.
6. Be disciplined.
Every day is filled with dozens of personal crossroads, moments when we’re called upon to make a decision regarding minor as well as major questions. These decisions chart a path to a future destination. With careful mental preparation, we can make wise choices.
The development of a sound philosophy prepares us for making sound decisions. When we eat healthy foods, we experience positive results in a short time. When we start exercising, we feel a new vitality almost immediately. When we begin reading, we experience a growing awareness and a new level of self-confidence.
New disciplines practiced daily will produce exciting results. The magic of new disciplines causes us to amend our thinking.
7. Don’t neglect.
Neglect is the major reason people don’t have what they want. If you don’t take care of things in your life, neglect becomes a disease. If you neglect to do good things with your money, you probably neglect to do good things with your time. If you don’t know what’s going on with your health or your bank account, you could be at risk.
Set up new disciplines to change your life. Don’t neglect. Everything is within our reach if we will read books, use journals, practice the disciplines and wage a new and vigorous battle against neglect.
Build your philosophy. Commit yourself to a new journey and say, I’m going to change my life. Once you do, you’ll never look back.

Taking the first step towards what we were born to do

Taking the first step require us to realise that we all great in our own right and once we make that decision to move forward, then there is no stopping once we stay focus.

"Our mind is always more powerful than we think"

I've found this great article:

How to identify your first self-empowerment goal

As soon as you've made that decision, it's time to target where you like to change your life. What goals do you desire to set? And most importantly, what is the first goal you're intending to tackle?

You may have career goals like going back to school, getting a promotion, or starting your own company. You may have personal goals like finding a partner or spouse, improving your finances, or buying a home.
Usually, the key to success with any goal is to focus and take manageable and small steps. If you want to start a business then you'll ideally make a list of the steps required to achieve that goal. Each step can then be a smaller and more attainable goal.

You can add another goal to your plan once you're on the path to achieving one goal and have taken some significant steps toward success. Many people have more than just one goal, but attempting to prioritize them both at the same time can be overwhelming.

Being self-empowered means that you have made the conscious choice to control your life-- all areas of your life. Rather than being the victim of others, of circumstance, or even of your very own negative or limiting thinking, you've decided to take life by the reins, make your personal decisions and set your very own goals.
Which goal will you focus on? Consider the following ideas and questions:

Choosing the self-empowerment goal that you target first may feel overwhelming. Enjoy the process of becoming empowered and taking control over every aspect of your life.
* What goal will have the biggest effect on your life? Sometimes one goal on your list will make the biggest definer for you.

That may possibly be the most effective place to start.
Most often, the key to success with any goal is to focus and take manageable and small steps. If you want to start a business then you'll ideally make a list of the steps required to achieve that goal. * What goal will have the biggest impact on your life? Another option is to focus on the simplest and easiest goal. What goal do you want to focus on?

* What goal feels necessary to move forward? There may be a goal on your list that just logically comes.
Another option is to focus on the simplest and easiest goal. Create a pattern of success by starting with goals that you know you can achieve.
All things aside, what goal on your list gives you the biggest smile or sense of inspiration? What goal do you want to focus on?

We all need a little help in life to inspire us and push us closer towards our goals

Whatever goals you have be it financial, spiritual, or personal; we all need a helping hand to inspire us and keep us on track.  Here is a a great article on why you should consider a life coach.

______________________________________________________________________________

Life Coaches help you with ways to Inspire Yourself for moving ahead in Life

Finding a life coach if you belong to the international black community is not that difficult nowadays. However, there are still things to think about before you hire someone to help you get through a phase of life or understand your spiritual being in great detail. There are concerns you need to understand and find solutions for. Your life isn't turning put the way you thought it would and you are seeking answers for your failure all over; however, if you aren't spiritually inspired, you may find it difficult to find solutions for problems that are giving you a really hard time. These are the situations when you are looking for ways to inspire yourself, but you aren't able to find any.
Life coaching can be the answer to all the questions hitting you hard all the time. The feeling of discontentment and the feeling of being lost in a world that has nothing for you are some situations that would require someone to be with you and help you let go of yourself.
As you look for a life coach, make sure you find someone from the African-American community, who will have the knowledge of problems that are specific to this community.
A lot of people confuse life coaching with counseling; however, the basis of both of these has a stark difference. Counseling helps people in dealing with their psychological and mental problems by carefully studying their history. On the other hand, life coaching is something that believes in creating newer opportunities and helping a person see life with a more positive frame of mind. When you start asking yourself - why is this happening to me, why has God put me in this miserable state and why did he even sent me on this earth; you seriously need a life coach to get you out of this hazardous situation. With time and proper coaching, you will develop a frame of mind that will help you finding a way out of these tough situations, and leading a life of happiness and fulfillment.

All you need to do is to conduct an introspection of your inner self, start taking responsibility for all your actions and to bring the drive back into your life to do better things. When you will be able to let yourself be and get your act together, it will be smooth sailing as usual for you.
Spiritual Life coaches empower you to tread a path that brings you happiness, health and wealth.

Appreciating Money Can Prosper You

Do you wonder why it is important to cultivate a good attitude about money? Money is filled with the intelligence of the universe from which it is created. Money reacts to your attitude about it. You attract what you appreciate and money responds accordingly. If you think favorably about money, you multiply and increase it, however if you criticize and condemn it in any way, either your own money or another’s, you dissipate it and repel it from you. If you were to study the lives and experiences of prosperous-minded people, you would find that they have a friendly attitude toward money.
Remember that your thoughts make your world. Your thoughts about money have to be appreciative in order for money to appreciate you and be attracted to you. You should never declare, “I can’t afford this”. You don’t want to talk about being ‘down an out’, or even speak unkindly about those who have money. It is not wise to magnify financial difficulties. If you brag or discuss your financial troubles (and some people actually do so to gain attention or sympathy), then you will always have financial troubles to brag about.
Do not discuss the financial difficulties of others. If you think of yourself as prosperous but of others as living in lack, through the law of attraction you are inviting the same thing to happen to you. The golden rule of prosperous thinking is that you should not think or say anything concerning another’s financial affairs that you would not want to experience in your own.
When you hear of another’s good fortune, wealthy possessions or inheritance, you should feel great joy and appreciation. Don’t think, talk, or act any way but prosperously. Don’t allow others to talk to you in any way but prosperously. Don’t read anything or take seriously anything that is printed or on TV that is contrary to prosperous thinking.
Think of it as money being charged with divine intelligence that tunes in on what you say or think about it, and responds accordingly. Have a prosperous attitude towards money. Use this affirmation daily: “All financial doors are open and free and endless money now comes to me.”
Let the journey begin as you feel gratitude for all that is coming to you, all that comes to others, and all the abundance in the universe. Mentally and emotionally bask in abundance and appreciate it! Welcome money from all directions

7 Easy Tips For Self Improvement and Personal Growth

Self improvement tips are a great way to kickstart your personal growth and to push yourself to new levels of achievement and fulfillment.
If you're someone who's interested in personal development, you're probably always in search of effective strategies for stimulating growth. You're probably also looking for strategies which will ensure your personal growth and help you to achieve results.
So after spending over a decade studying personal achievement, I've decided to provide these seven easy self improvement tips as a way of giving back and helping people like you to achieve greater success in their life.
#1 Daily Journaling
If you study the great achievers of history, you'll find that almost all of them were avid writers. Keeping a daily journal helps you to clarify your thoughts and develop a sense of self-awareness which will give you the ability to reinvent yourself on a moment's notice and help you to develop unshakable self-confidence.
#2 Daily Meditation
This is probably the most commonly neglected of these seven self improvement tips ...it's also one of the most important. Meditation is the most effective means of reducing stress and clearing out your mind from "junk thoughts" which lead to worry and anxiety. Daily meditation also helps to slow your heart rate and regulate your digestion among dozens of other health benefits.
It also makes your sleep more restful and helps your body to recover faster. Basically, the practice of meditation is the one thing which can make the other six of these self improvement tips effective.
#3 Expecting to Win
People who achieve great things in life aren't normally anymore intelligent or capable than the average person. But they do one thing different which many intelligent people have a hard time doing: they expect to win, even before they know how they're going to do it.
Having expectations doesn't require knowledge of how those expectations are going to be, and if you start from a foundation of bold expectancy, the rest is just a matter of perseverance.
#4 Writing Goals and Plans of Actions
The habit of writing down clear and specific goals and plans of action for achieving those goals is a must if you want to accomplish anything. This is because writing down your goals clarifies them and begins building an expectation in your mind. Also, having written plans gives you a specific set of actions to take each day towards the realization of your long-term goal.
#5 Be Well Rounded
The process of personal development must be holistic in nature. Every single area of your life affects every other area either directly or indirectly. If your relationships are out of order, it's going to affect your health and your financial life. If your health is out of order it's going to hamper your personal growth and make it more difficult for you to find the energy to achieve any of your goals.
So no matter what you're trying to achieve, being well-rounded is the key to living a balanced life and for building the physical stamina, the emotional fortitude, the financial security and the social support system required in order to achieve great things.
#6 Positive Affirmations
Positive affirmations have the power to change your inner dialogue which can literally change your personality, your character, your actions and your life. For best results, write one positive affirmation for each of the key areas of your life (health, relationships, finances and career) and make a commitment to rehearsing them out loud twice daily.
#7 Teach to Learn
This is the most important of any of the seven self improvement tips. The more you teach other people the principles of personal growth, the clearer your understanding will be of them and the more effective you'll be able to make them in your own life. Even if you have no one to teach, you can write about the principles of personal development and how they are helping you.
You can even begin by writing a short paragraph about each of these simple self improvement tips. Write each one as if you were teaching the principles to someone else and your understanding of them will deepen.
Much success!

Creating abundance

Why do you suppose some people seem to "have it all" and others struggle and always fall short? If I told you there is a secret to learning how to be included in the "have it all" category would you be interested in hearing it? The funny part is that it really isn't a secret at all. We've heard others allude to it since we were kids. Do these phrases sound remotely familiar?
Ask and ye shall receive
Your wish is my command
Be thankful for what you have
The biggest part of success is attitude
Accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative
Believe and you will prosper
These are all statements that connect with The Law Of Attraction. So....what's that?
The Law Of Attraction means that we attract what we pay attention to. If we continually think about the negative, the things we don't have, the things that are going wrong in our lives, then that's what we'll get more of. Why? Because that's where we're focusing our energy. We are, as you've read in Desiderata, "a child of the universe." We are sources of energy in this universe just as any other source of energy. We improve our chances of success as we use our energy to promote the positive rather than the negative. If you want to have something, focus your energy on the positive - on having it and all that it means to you to have it.
Try this strategy:
Take a few minutes in a quiet spot with no distractions. You may wish to play some soothing music to put you in the mood to relax.
Feel gratitude for what you DO have. Be thankful - it could be, and it has been, worse.
Write down what you want.
Visualize having it.
Feel like you have it. Really allow yourself to "feel" what it would be like to have it. Stay in that moment for awhile, enjoying it, feeling as though you have what it is you want.
Do this 2-3 times each day. One of the times should be at bedtime, just before you go to sleep. At bedtime recall with your thoughts the thing you want, visualize it, feel it and drift off to sleep.
You will begin to see your life change. You will see more positive come into your life because you are using your energy to "attract" more positive. I invite you to try it for awhile. See your life change.
Remember: Change your thoughts and you change your destiny.

Creating Money Using the Law of Attraction: Why Most People Fail!

When creating money with the Law of Attraction, many people are led to believe that if they say a few money affirmations or a particular wealth affirmation over and over again, they are building the foundation for wealth. However, many times there is a key element left out of their practice of the Law of Attraction and this article discusses this key ingredient to making the Law of Attraction work consistently.
While many people "sell the Law of Attraction" as a magical potion or as one of the more creative ways to make money, creating money from nothing takes a bit more than just reciting money affirmations, learning how to attract money or using the Law of Attraction for money goals that are not in line with our deeper commitments and beliefs.
The key term here being "Commitment." Why? Because there is a magic to the energy of commitment that, if you use it, it will make the Law of Attraction work consistently for you.
Why is this? I think Goethe says it best:
"... the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way." ~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

What does this mean exactly? That commitment has a certain "energy about it" to which the Law of Attraction responds and "energy is key" when creating money using the Law of Attraction.
In fact, energy is key when trying to manifest anything with the Law of Attraction, but is frequently missed because people are so focused on reciting money affirmations or doing other "intellectual" ways to invoking the Law of Attraction, which have "hit and miss" results. This can be frustrating and is why many people give up before reaching their goals.
If you want to get the Law of Attraction's attention, you want to speak to it "energetically" and commitment is one of the key energetic ways of enlisting the Law of Attraction's help to manifest money and discover the secret of wealth that comes from having a deep sense of certainty inside of yourself because you know, without a doubt, that you have found the true power for making the Law of Attraction respond to your "every whim."

Commitment is especially key when creating money using the Law of Attraction because just like learning to ride a bicycle, there are things to learn about how to attract money using the Law of Attraction, which means there is a learning curve to building the foundation for wealth.
Staying committed throughout the learning curve of learning how to manifest money is how money is created because as you get better at learning the art of the Law of Attraction through your continued commitment to learning the process, you get better and better at creating money.
Sadly, though, many people lack the belief and commitment to stay the course and give up when they are "three feet away from the prize" because they don't realize how important commitment and self-responsibility are to making the Law of Attraction work.

Commitment is also important because it gives you that internal "nudge" to keep you going, while at the same time "nudges" the Law of Attraction to keep going for you.
Suffice to say that once you are committed to making something happen, it usually does happen... no matter what. Especially if you keep the "no matter what" in mind. Another great quote I've heard about commitment is:

"Whatever it takes, for as long as it takes, no matter what." ~Joe Neid

Many people fail to make the Law of Attraction work for themselves because they are not guided to "stay consistent throughout the learning curve" or to use energetic techniques in place of the more common intellectual techniques. Having a deep sense of commitment makes things happen energetically, whether you are intellectually "thinking about your goals" or not.
While there are other energetic means of making the Law of Attraction work, when creating money using the Law of Attraction, it is essential to use the "energetic signature" of staying committed to your goal because it is through energetic means such as this that the Law of Attraction responds... no matter what.

Helping Others, Helps You

Understanding this lesson is the basis for successful business and a successful life. You don't sell anything for a profit unless it helps others in some way and you don't gain self respect by just taking care of you.
Private business is vital to all of us. It supports individuals, communities, and governments. There is no source of wealth except business. When local businesses prosper there are jobs, paychecks, money for homes, taxes, charity, vacations. When they don't, there aren't.
Governments are not designed to make money through the sale of products and services. They collect taxes from individuals and businesses to fix the roads and other things public, provide police protection and courts plus a safety net welfare system for those in need.
Occasionally governments have decided to takeover businesses from private individuals and used the military and police to enforce it. Making the production of goods and services a non-profit enterprise supervised by politicians and distributed on the basis of need rather than greed has been a popular dream but is not realistic.
Businesses are not natural resources that are exactly the same no matter who operates them. Each one is unique, needs full commitment, specialized knowledge, constant attention and the ability to change rapidly when needed. The bigger they are the more complex and difficult the decisions. In the hands of people who believe businesses are just immortal cows giving endless milk they fail.
Nothing happens in business until somebody sells something. Whether it is an individual selling home made cookies or an international manufacturer there must be profitable sales and satisfied customers to survive.
You can avoid this problem by growing your own food and making your clothing from animal skins. You won't even need roads, sewers, electricity, phones, etc. Unfortunately, back to nature is not an attractive option for most of us today. We need businesses making sales.
Personal success is more than business success. The accumulation of money and stuff comes and goes but relationships are a separate and different thing. Self respect plus love and respect from others is more important than stuff. Those things are also accomplished by helping people.
Donating money and materials can be part of it but is not practical if you have no surplus. Being a good neighbor or family member in some way or volunteering your time is a great alternative.
There is more to "give and ye shall receive" than a pleasant saying. We gain positive feelings of self worth starting with the satisfaction of pitching in and helping. We can always handle more than we thought especially when we find that we like doing it.
Feeling good about yourself leads to a more relaxed, positive attitude that is attractive to others. It breeds success, helps balance the scales and get you through those tough negative times that come to all of us. Like a growing snowball rolling downhill life gets better and better.
A good vacation is nice for a week or two. Self respect is nice for a lifetime.

Billionaire Mentality

Do you want to increase your wealth and improve your relationship with money? Are you willing to ALLOW a constant flow of prosperity into your life?
All it takes is a decision and belief. Simple, huh?!
Sure, you’ll have to let go of a great many negative beliefs that you currently hold on to for dear life.
Billionaires trust something that most people don’t … there will always be an abundance of money and resources. A never-ending supply. They believe that all of their needs will be met. That includes money, love, knowledge, space, energy, peace, fun and more.

All billionaires may not feel all of that. But that is true prosperity. That “knowing and trust” allow you to act more freely. You make decisions based on what you want, not what is possible. Billionaires know it’s all possible.
At any point so far have you thought …
I don’t need to be a billionaire.
I can’t imagine that. A millionaire is even beyond me!
How would I get there?
That sounds overwhelming.

Prosperity means trusting that you can have the desired outcome without having to give up anything (except that nasty gremlin who has you believing those limiting thoughts!). When abundance is your primary belief, you can have it all. You won’t be taking anything away from anyone else, either.
Recently, I went to a beautiful restaurant for dinner. The couple I was with kept making comments about the menu prices. It detracted from the beauty of the moment and anticipation of the meal. When you focus on price, you begin judging and justifying its worth.

If you’re in business for yourself, you’ll notice the same thing happens when you decide to increase your fee or your price list. If an expensive dinner freaks you out, don’t do it. But notice what beliefs are making that decision for you. If you’re focused on paying debt and cutting down on unnecessary expenses, this decision is aligned with your strategy. But strategy will only get you so far if you have lack lurking behind the scenes.
I’ve coached billionaires and millionaires, with no debt, and some are still plagued with the fear that someday their wealth will disappear. This has them making choices in their lives that aren’t truly making them happy. They stay in careers where they work 24/7.
This is not the way life is designed to be. You have the choice to go on the same way or uncover more of what’s limiting you. As you get smarter, the lack mentality is very subtle but has a huge impact on your life. The “Billionaire Mentality” is available to you right now!
Are You Truly Ready For Prosperity? Really? You’ll have bouts with fear, discomfort, and insecurity. You’ll control, push, worry and get spun up in your head about how to get what you want.
It takes practice, but it’s a worthy cause. And it can be quite fun!
Here are some small steps to get you started …
*Decide to focus on what you want, rather than on what you don’t have.
*Ask yourself when making decisions, “If money wasn’t an issue what would I do or how would I feel about this issue? If I knew my desire was possible what would I do next?”
*Surround yourself with people, books, audios and information that support you in this quest. This isn’t the average person’s way of thinking. Most people are hooked into struggle, limitation and “someday”.
*Start noticing who is making decisions for you. Is it your “gremlin” or is it the “billionaire” in you who trusts in your brilliance and unlimited resources?

7 Laws of Sowing and Reaping

You Reap Only What You Sow-
Sowing is a choice. It is intentional and you expect to reap from your efforts. If you sow apple seeds, you will get apples. If you want to be more optimistic sow the seeds of optimism. Sow positive behaviors to reap positive results.
Your thoughts are your seeds. Say to yourself positive affirmations, "I'm super good but I'm getting better", or "I am a positive person who looks for the best outcome in every situation"," the leads are great and there is opportunity in every one of them".
You won't reap bananas from pumpkin seeds, no matter how hard you hope for them. Hope is not a strategy. Hoping customers will buy from you will not create sales.

Know Where To Sow-
Seeds sown on rocks will never bear fruit. Sowing is an investment so be careful where you spend your energy and with whom.
If you want to be successful hang around successful people.

A Farmer Knows His Crop-
Sowing is an investment, so the farmer is careful. He is equipped to sow and reap in accordance with the nature of his crop.
The farmer has the land, has the right equipment, understands the calendar, knows the cultivation schedule, and knows the water and nutrients necessary for the crop to yield its intended result.
If the farmer is careless, if his stewardship falters, he stands to lose everything.

When the Time is Right, Reap-
You reap in a different season than you sow. Plants don't germinate overnight and consequences are often delayed. Focused training should be done in the off season so when the season comes to harvest we are prepared and ready. Weekly meetings are where you water your crops, role playing.
Most people aren't willing to do the hard work it takes to make selling easy or production, service, call center, for that matter. Training is the highest value activity you do in any company or department.
You don't get great at selling (or in any position) in one day you get great at selling day by day.

We Can't Do Anything About Last Year's Harvest-
Life is filled with important choices, and every choice has a consequence, it's cause and effect. It's not about whether last year's harvest was good or bad, it's about how you handled the success or failure of that harvest.
We can do something only about this year's crop (Living in "NOW")... but we can take what we learned last year and make this year's harvest more bountiful.
Life is full of lemon's, it's up to you to make lemonade.
It's important to have the strength and the desire to continue sowing.

Don't Worry About the Weather Or Anything Else-
Worry is wasted effort and the breeding ground of doubt. It can lead you to focus on potential losses rather than effective solutions.
Combat worry by taking positive actions that will prevent worry from happening.

You Reap Much More Than You Sow-
One single seed yields hundreds to thousands of its kind.
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
You can never like anyone else more than you like yourself and don't expect others to like you if you don't hold yourself in high esteem.
These principles can be applied to each and every one of us. They apply to every company in every department in every division. These principles are Biblical - Galatians 6:7, it's Karma also known as Cause and Effect.
You reap what you sow!

Ten Tips for Attracting Abundance

Do you always find yourself feeling limited financially? This brief article will help you to open to a new level of abundance by changing your thoughts, beliefs and feelings about money.
1. Use the Law of Attraction. Focus your feelings and thoughts on what you want, NOT what you don't want! We are magnetic beings, therefore we will pull into our reality anything that our whole being/energetic body is vibrating at. If we are vibrating lack in our energy field through our feelings about money, we will attract what we are vibrating - lack. Change your feelings and thoughts from not enough to having it all!
2. DREAM BIG. Fantasize like you did when you were a kid. FEEL the emotions of having it all. Close your eyes and really FEEL yourself driving your brand new car! Feel the smile on your face, the wind blowing your hair, see the beautiful view - FEEL it all. Emotion is what creates!
3. Re-program the subconscious mind from all the negative thoughts and belief systems to positive thoughts and new belief systems. You can create positive affirmations. You can verbally say them or you can record them and listen to them during the day and while you sleep. You can also remove limiting beliefs and blocks through energetic work. I offer Practical Mastery Abundance Sessions to clear all kinds of core level fears, beliefs, worthiness, etc. that surround abundance. Visit my website for full details.
4. Know that you ARE worthy and you DO deserve abundance!
5. Know that there is enough for everyone on the earth. What you believe is what you will create. Dismantle the limiting beliefs that you carry regarding abundance. God's abundance is unlimited and He/She wants us to have it all. Trust you are loved and know in your heart that all you need to do is change your feelings regarding worthiness and abundance can be yours. Change your mind, change your emotions, change your world!
6. Everyday bless, thank and be grateful for all that you already have! Include material possessions, your friends, loved ones, your job, your health, your happiness etc.
7. Be open to receiving abundance. Some people have buried deep in their subconscious minds that they are not worthy of receiving so they push the abundance right out of their life. You have to be willing to receive in order to acquire all that you rightfully deserve.
8. Be open to giving even if it is only a dollar! Give, share. It works both ways and MUST flow equally in as it does out. Hoarding wealth is not allowed. This creates a block in your energy field. It's like having a big sticky note stuck on you that says "I have to hold on to what I have because I fear no more is coming in." You fear lack - that is what you will create. The opposite of what you want!
9. Learn to become efficient in handling your wealth. If you are not good at handling wealth now, how can you efficiently handle a million dollars? Read books about money management. Find a mentor who is wealthy.
10. Love yourself! If you don't love yourself - then all the material stuff in the world will never make you feel fulfilled. Connect with your soul and grow. Remember who you really are. Loving yourself, removes fear. When fear has been removed your life will flourish.
I hope these brief tips have been insightful and help you on your journey to abundance. If you would like energetic assistance in helping you to remove limiting programs, limiting beliefs, core fears, etc. please visit my website for complete details. The Money Game

Whether you are aware of them or not, you do have a set of rules when it comes to attracting, spending and relating to money. Most likely you have objectives, too. So why not leverage these two things that you already have going on and make it a game?
Before we move into the details of the game, let me do my best to get you sold on the “why”.
Benefits of making your relationship with money a game…
• Everything to do with money will now be FUN
• When it becomes fun, you will nail your goals faster
• You will be clear on your outcomes and conscious of your rules
• It enables you to acknowledge your progress each step of the way
• You will gain confidence in your power to create and strategize with money
• It allows you to feel abundance in all areas of your life, which leads to peace, flow and a deeply satisfying life
Sold?

Now it’s time to deliberately design the rules of the game based on the beliefs and outcomes that serve you. Your number one outcome should be fun. Fun is your entire purpose here on the planet. You could use a little more of it, right?
Next decide on specific outcomes when it comes to money. I’ve created several money games over the past two decades for myself and my clients. Here are some examples of outcomes:
• Attracting six figures in a year
• Attracting seven figures in a year from your business
• Five figures a month
• Six figures in savings
• $1000 a day in new income
• Down payment for a house
• Eliminating all debt
• Opening a new business
• 10 new clients
• Dream vacation
• Double house payments
• Pay for major home improvement
• Paying for college (for yourself or children)

The most important part of choosing your desired outcome/s for your money game is that it has to be something you are hot and heavy about…you gotta really want it.
Really want it right now. Not someday. The passion will fuel your commitment to the rules of the game and will increase your attraction power.

The rules of game must be designed with winning as your only option. The rules create structure, focus and accountability. They also need to be designed to reinforce new ways of relating to money.
Examples:
1. Keep a log of all progress (every dollar you attract, the debt going down, etc)
2. Focus only on the end goal
3. Act as if you have already achieved the goal
4. Pay a specific amount on each debt over the amount you paid last time
5. Commit to saving a specific amount of money each day, week or month
6. Do a daily visualization each day on your end outcome
7. Do a daily rampage of appreciation about money
8. Do daily inquiry: How can I align with attracting a $1000 today?
9. Mastermind with a partner /s
10. Mentally (virtually) spending money in your head on things you desire
11. Give daily attention to specific projects or tasks that will impact your desired outcome
12. Create a wealth plan (See: A Wealth Plan that Works)
13. Take one daily-inspired action toward your end-outcome
Go outside the box with your end-outcomes and your rules. They must assist you in shifting your beliefs, feelings and actions regarding money. And most importantly it must be FUN. Let the game begin!
