Learn how to create a new habit in 7 steps

7 Steps To Developing A New Habit

How long does it take to develop a new habit?
The time period can be any length from a single second to several years. The speed of new habit pattern development is largely determined by the intensity of the emotion that accompanies the decision to begin acting in a particular way.
Many people think, talk about, and resolve to lose weight and become physically fit. This may go on for years. Then one day, the doctor says that, “If you don’t get your weight down and improve your physical condition, you’re in danger of dying at an early age.”
Suddenly, the thought of dying can be so intense or frightening that the individual immediately changes his diet, begins exercising, stops smoking, and becomes a healthy and fit person. Psychologists refer to this as a “significant emotional experience.” Any experience of intense joy or pain, combined with a behavior, can create a habitual behavior pattern that may endure for the rest of a person’s life.
For example, putting your hand on a hot stove or touching a live electrical wire will give you an intense and immediate pain or shock. The experience may only take a split second. But for the rest of your life, you will have developed the habit of not putting your hand on hot stoves, or touching live electrical wires. The habit will have been formed instantly, and endure permanently.

21 Days To Break A Habit Or Make A Habit

According to the experts, it takes about 21 days to break or form a habit pattern of medium complexity.
By this, we mean simple habits such as getting up earlier at a specific hour, exercising each morning before you start out, listening to podcasts in your car, going to bed at a certain hour, being punctual for appointments, planning every day in advance, starting with your most important tasks each day, or completing your tasks before you start something else.
These are habits of medium complexity that can be quite easily developed in 14-21 days through practice and repetition.

How To Develop A Habit

Over the years, a simple, powerful, proven methodology has been determined for new habit development. It is very much like a recipe for preparing a dish in the kitchen. You can use it to develop any habit that you desire. Over time, you will find it easier and easier to develop the habits that you want to incorporate into your personality.

1) Make A Decision

First, make a decision. Decide clearly that you are going to begin acting in a specific way 100% of the time, whenever that behavior is required. For example, if you decide to arise early and exercise each morning, set your clock for a specific time, and when the alarm goes off, immediately get up, put on your exercise clothes and begin your exercise session.

2) Never Allow An Exception To Your New Habit

Second, never allow an exception to your new habit pattern during the formative stages. Don’t make excuses or rationalizations. Don’t let yourself off the hook. If you resolve to get up at 6:00 AM each morning, discipline yourself to get up at 6:00 AM, every single morning until this becomes automatic.

3) Tell Others You Are Practicing A New Behavior

Third, tell others that you are going to begin practicing a particular behavior. It is amazing how much more disciplined and determined you will become when you know that others are watching you to see if you have the willpower to follow through on your resolution.

4) Visualize Your New Habit

Fourth, visualize yourself performing or behaving in a particular way in a particular situation. The more often you visualize and imagine yourself acting as if you already had the new habit, the more rapidly this new behavior will be accepted by your subconscious mind and become automatic.

5) Create An Affirmation

Fifth, create an affirmation that you repeat over and over to yourself. This repetition dramatically increases the speed at which you develop the new habit. For example, you can say something like, “I get up and get going immediately at 6:00 AM each morning!” Repeat these words the last thing before you fall asleep. In most cases, you will automatically wake up minutes before the alarm clock goes off, and soon you will need no alarm clock at all.

6) Resolve To Persist

Sixth, resolve to persist in the new behavior until it is so automatic and easy that you actually feel uncomfortable when you do not do what you have decided to do.

7) Reward Yourself

Seventh, and most important, give yourself a reward of some kind for practicing in the new behavior. Each time you reward yourself, you reaffirm and reinforce the behavior. Soon you begin to associate, at an unconscious level, the pleasure of the reward with the behavior. You set up your own force field of positive consequences that you unconsciously look forward to as the result of engaging in the behavior or habit that you have decided upon.

How to make affirmations work for you

During my reading today, I found this great article that explains the truth about affirmation and how to make them work for you.

Hope you enjoy it.

Affirmations: The secret to making them work for you!

Positive affirmations are all over the internet (specifically social media sites like Pinterest and Facebook)
But they’re not just some fancy saying.
People believe that if affirmations are used properly, they can change your life.
How?
Well, according to theory, if you say them over and over again your mind will start believing them;
And belief is one of the most powerful predictors of success.
But do affirmations really work?
Well the answer is a little more complicated than a simple yes or no.
Tony Robbins, Life Coach and Self-help guru extraordinaire doesn’t think so.
He personally attests to incantations which are essentially affirmations combined with movement, intended to get an emotional charge out of you.
In fact Tony has personally been using Incantations for over 30 years and is a big part of his personal success; which at a net worth of $480 million dollars (as of April 2015) is no small feat.
But there is another way

A secret way of using affirmations that is supported by academic research. It’s called the REINFORCEMENT
AFFIRMATION TECHNIQUE (or R.A.T. for short)
The academic community calls them self-affirmations and according to research, it’s all about HOW you use them that make all the difference.
So in the academic World many studies have been done on self-affirmation and its impact but instead of trying to figure all of that out for yourself, here are the important points and how it can help you change your life.
In order to achieve lasting change through Affirmations, three items are absolutely necessary:
Accepting what you’re affirming. If you affirm the following:
"I am amazing at spotting and acting on all opportunities that come my way"
Are you going to believe it?
If the answer is no then put a big X on accepting what you’re affirming. Suddenly your affirmation becomes nothing more than meaningless words you tell yourself. You might as well say:
"I'm a green banana that leaps tall buildings in a single bound"
Motivation for Change –
Okay so you believe what you’re saying, but are you going to do anything about it?
It would definitely be a big fat no if you’re not accepting what you’re affirming, but you’re much more likely if you do.
Subsequent Behaviour –
So you believe you are amazing at spotting and acting on all opportunities that come your way (or that you’re a green banana!) and you’re motivated to use that in achieving financial freedom for example;
Will you follow up with the appropriate behaviour?
Well the good news is that if you affirm correctly you’re far more likely to accept, be motivated and act on it then if you don’t.
So what does this all mean?
How exactly do you do proper self-affirmations?
Well, two things are needed.
You NEED to believe it and you need to build support around it to move from belief to motivation to action.

Belief
In order to believe an affirmation, you have to believe it to be true in at least one aspect of your life.
It doesn’t even have to be in the area of your life you want to improve (at first).
So let’s say;
You want to lose weight but cannot find the motivation to exercise. Saying “I’m motivated” over and over in the context of losing weight won’t be very effective.
But what if you stop for a moment and think about another aspect of your life where you are or have been motivated.
For example, you are very successful in your career and you’re motivated to do the best you can in your job.
Well doesn’t that mean you are motivated in at least one aspect of your life?
And if you can be motivated in one aspect, isn’t it entirely possible to be motivated in other? Absolutely!
Now the affirmation doesn’t seem so unbelievable, does it! Of course not.
Is that enough to actually motivate you into action? Maybe. It depends on the person. If you’re like most people, it won’t be enough. Fortunately there is another step.

Support
What the academics have discovered is that in a lot of cases it’s not enough to simply say it.
What they have found is that you’re much more likely to alter your behaviour with the proper support around that affirmation.
And that means taking that affirmation (I’m motivated as evidenced in the pursuit of my career) and write down the details behind that.
Specifically examples of times when you were/are motivated.
What that does is it opens your mind to the possibility that this affirmation can apply in other areas of your life and now you have real-life examples to support it.
And that’s it! Instead of taking the 10 minutes you would use to say something you don’t believe over and over again, take the time to try the Reinforcement Affirmation Technique (R.A.T.) and see if it works for you.
It has a much better chance of positively affecting you.
Now there are some additional tips I’d like to offer:
If you can’t find any aspect of your current life where the affirmations seems to ring true, then search your past and try and find examples that provide support.
If you’re having trouble figuring out an affirmation to explore further, read them out loud and see which ones touch a nerve. If one of them does, it’s your subconscious nudging you to look into it further, because there is some truth behind it.
Finally, if nothing is working, enlist the help of someone who you can trust and have them shed some light on which affirmation(s) are true in some aspect of your life.
I hope you found this useful and I would love to hear your feedback.

Appreciating Money Can Prosper You

Do you wonder why it is important to cultivate a good attitude about money? Money is filled with the intelligence of the universe from which it is created. Money reacts to your attitude about it. You attract what you appreciate and money responds accordingly. If you think favorably about money, you multiply and increase it, however if you criticize and condemn it in any way, either your own money or another’s, you dissipate it and repel it from you. If you were to study the lives and experiences of prosperous-minded people, you would find that they have a friendly attitude toward money.
Remember that your thoughts make your world. Your thoughts about money have to be appreciative in order for money to appreciate you and be attracted to you. You should never declare, “I can’t afford this”. You don’t want to talk about being ‘down an out’, or even speak unkindly about those who have money. It is not wise to magnify financial difficulties. If you brag or discuss your financial troubles (and some people actually do so to gain attention or sympathy), then you will always have financial troubles to brag about.
Do not discuss the financial difficulties of others. If you think of yourself as prosperous but of others as living in lack, through the law of attraction you are inviting the same thing to happen to you. The golden rule of prosperous thinking is that you should not think or say anything concerning another’s financial affairs that you would not want to experience in your own.
When you hear of another’s good fortune, wealthy possessions or inheritance, you should feel great joy and appreciation. Don’t think, talk, or act any way but prosperously. Don’t allow others to talk to you in any way but prosperously. Don’t read anything or take seriously anything that is printed or on TV that is contrary to prosperous thinking.
Think of it as money being charged with divine intelligence that tunes in on what you say or think about it, and responds accordingly. Have a prosperous attitude towards money. Use this affirmation daily: “All financial doors are open and free and endless money now comes to me.”
Let the journey begin as you feel gratitude for all that is coming to you, all that comes to others, and all the abundance in the universe. Mentally and emotionally bask in abundance and appreciate it! Welcome money from all directions

How To Attract Wealth Using 3 Simple Steps

Are you looking for ways on how to attract wealth? Wealth and abundance already exist in this world that we live in. It is just a matter of knowing how to draw them to your life. You may have to change your lifestyle a little, but I assure you that once you make these changes, you will begin to see a change in your own circumstances. Do read this article with an open mind because I will be sharing some insights.

How To Attract Wealth - Be Thankful For What You Have
You need to have a positive mindset and learn to be grateful for what you have, even if you do not have a lot. Think about this. There were people who did not wake up to a brand new day. Those who did probably woke up in hospital, waiting to die. Are you in such a situation or do you have something that you can be grateful for? Merely having air to breath is something to be thankful about. Here are other questions that you can ask yourself. How many people do not have clean food and water for their consumption? How many people live life without a roof above their head? How many people have absolutely no more to even buy a meal? When you learn to be thankful, you are opening your life up to receive more good things.

How To Attract Wealth - Act And Behave Like You Already Possess Your Desired Aspiration
I believe that you have your own dreams and desires. Learn to act and behave as though you already own them. You will no doubt draw those aspirations to you. Make sure you involve as many of your senses as you can. Feel like you own it. See it with your very eyes through what I like to call “faith pictures”. Speak like you have it and make sure you hear your own voice loud and clear. Ensure that your senses get exposed to even the finer details of your aspirations. You want it to be as detailed as possible to increase its effectiveness.

How To Attract Wealth - Hang Out With The Right People
Lastly, I need to stress on the importance of hanging out with the right crowd. Some people will drain you of your energy. Examples of such include those who are depressed, pessimistic, or those who find it difficult to be positive. You should stay clear from these people as much as possible and hang out with people who emit positive vibes.
I hope you have a better understanding on how to attract wealth. Do remember these points which I have shared today.

7 Easy Tips For Self Improvement and Personal Growth

Self improvement tips are a great way to kickstart your personal growth and to push yourself to new levels of achievement and fulfillment.
If you're someone who's interested in personal development, you're probably always in search of effective strategies for stimulating growth. You're probably also looking for strategies which will ensure your personal growth and help you to achieve results.
So after spending over a decade studying personal achievement, I've decided to provide these seven easy self improvement tips as a way of giving back and helping people like you to achieve greater success in their life.
#1 Daily Journaling
If you study the great achievers of history, you'll find that almost all of them were avid writers. Keeping a daily journal helps you to clarify your thoughts and develop a sense of self-awareness which will give you the ability to reinvent yourself on a moment's notice and help you to develop unshakable self-confidence.
#2 Daily Meditation
This is probably the most commonly neglected of these seven self improvement tips ...it's also one of the most important. Meditation is the most effective means of reducing stress and clearing out your mind from "junk thoughts" which lead to worry and anxiety. Daily meditation also helps to slow your heart rate and regulate your digestion among dozens of other health benefits.
It also makes your sleep more restful and helps your body to recover faster. Basically, the practice of meditation is the one thing which can make the other six of these self improvement tips effective.
#3 Expecting to Win
People who achieve great things in life aren't normally anymore intelligent or capable than the average person. But they do one thing different which many intelligent people have a hard time doing: they expect to win, even before they know how they're going to do it.
Having expectations doesn't require knowledge of how those expectations are going to be, and if you start from a foundation of bold expectancy, the rest is just a matter of perseverance.
#4 Writing Goals and Plans of Actions
The habit of writing down clear and specific goals and plans of action for achieving those goals is a must if you want to accomplish anything. This is because writing down your goals clarifies them and begins building an expectation in your mind. Also, having written plans gives you a specific set of actions to take each day towards the realization of your long-term goal.
#5 Be Well Rounded
The process of personal development must be holistic in nature. Every single area of your life affects every other area either directly or indirectly. If your relationships are out of order, it's going to affect your health and your financial life. If your health is out of order it's going to hamper your personal growth and make it more difficult for you to find the energy to achieve any of your goals.
So no matter what you're trying to achieve, being well-rounded is the key to living a balanced life and for building the physical stamina, the emotional fortitude, the financial security and the social support system required in order to achieve great things.
#6 Positive Affirmations
Positive affirmations have the power to change your inner dialogue which can literally change your personality, your character, your actions and your life. For best results, write one positive affirmation for each of the key areas of your life (health, relationships, finances and career) and make a commitment to rehearsing them out loud twice daily.
#7 Teach to Learn
This is the most important of any of the seven self improvement tips. The more you teach other people the principles of personal growth, the clearer your understanding will be of them and the more effective you'll be able to make them in your own life. Even if you have no one to teach, you can write about the principles of personal development and how they are helping you.
You can even begin by writing a short paragraph about each of these simple self improvement tips. Write each one as if you were teaching the principles to someone else and your understanding of them will deepen.
Much success!

Belief in Yourself

The stronger your belief in yourself, the more you can have and achieve. Believing in yourself, in your abilities and in your capabilities is what makes your reality so undeniable. Today, more than ever, individuals need to believe in themselves and in their individual capabilities. With all the influence of social media, its difficult to differentiate truth from fiction. Its harder and harder to know the facts about any particular subject. I was always told that you can not believe everything you hear as truth, until you know the facts are concrete.

But it seems to me that the further we move into the future the more we allow social media to control the direction of our future. Its as if the media is
controlling the direction of individuals. Instead of individuals creating the lives in which they desire and following their dreams. We must learn to take to take back control of the influences that we allow in our lives. And this is where our belief in ourselves, helps in the development of self esteem, self development and in our individual successes. There are many tools when used in conjunction with belief that help in propelling you to higher levels. Levels in which were unconceivable before belief.

Belief in yourself helps in acquiring that which you desire. In my past/present education, belief has been the first vital ingredient toward any worth while accomplishment in my development and
life. For if you believe you can do a thing the battle is 90% won. It is truly fascinating how powerful belief in yourself truly is. For if you truly believe, there is not a thing that can/will be held from you. For belief is that power that attracts and brings into your life all you could ever imagine and receive.

Belief is a tool that can be developed in our lives. As it has been stated over and over throughout the
years, it is a tool that can be perfected with proper application and desire.  These applications will be focused on changing and correcting the proper use of true information stored within your subconscious minds. For it is through our subconscious that our belief (our true belief) is uncovered and stored.
So here is the foundation of our belief system, our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind is the storage of our thoughts, our life experiences, our beliefs or our definition of our beliefs in things(our perception of how we interpret and see life). It is our connection with infinite intelligence. It is our connection to all others. Our connection to all knowledge and power.  So tapping and redirecting of our subconscious minds is the infinite goal of all mankind. Because if we learn to harness and direct our subconscious, there are no feats that could be of any resistance to us. Their have been many developments in the recent years that have helped in the reprogramming of our beliefs. Affirmations are probably the most commonly used application to improve your life. Some other tools that may be of assistance that are fairly new to the public are subliminal music and subliminal videoes. As time moves further into the future new tools will be developed that will surpass the tools used now to improve on reprogramming of our belief systems.

To learn more about principles of success, self development and self improvement look to my blogs, articles and web sites on improving your number one assets, "your mind". Heres to your success.

3 Reasons Why Making Money Is Difficult For Most People

Are you frustrated at why you are not making money the way you would like to?
It appears as if things just don't seem to work out right? Yes you work hard, but it seems as if for every 2 steps forward that you take, 3 steps backwards follows. Making money just seems impossible and it's certainly not from a lack of effort. Why?
Chances are, that there are internal blocks more powerful than you realize that are sabotaging your efforts of making money.
The mind is composed of two parts, the conscience and subconscious parts. The part of the mind that wants to make money, achieve success and all that good stuff is the conscious mind. The part that may be stopping you form achieving your desires is the subconscious mind.
As renowned American developmental biologist and author of "The Biology of Belief" Dr. Bruce Lipton explains, our lives are run by habits, not desires. Your habits are simply your programmed responses to stimuli. The responses are in the form of thought and eventually action. All this is run by your subconscious mind. Your desires, on the other hand, are things that you strongly aspire to have. You control the conscious mind so you will take action to attain these desires.
The thing is, the subconscious mind controls 95% of what you do but you are unlikely to even notice. If what you desire (Making Money) differs from what your subconscious programming wants (status quo), then its like swimming against a really, really, really strong current. You efforts will be futile.
So what are these three major blocks to making money?
1. FEAR OF MAKING MONEY
This is the big one. You might be shocked at how fearful you are of success and a lot of money, even if you want it badly! Introspect for a second. What comes with making money and achieving success? Responsibility? Attention? A shift from what you know and are used to? Being treated differently? What else? As you slowly and deliberately think about the things that money bring, how do you feel about them? Is there a touch of discomfort perhaps with one or more of these things?
Lets take responsibility for instance. You get a lot of money; you have to worry about managing it, taking care of those close to you who would not have otherwise looked to you for support (not that you don't want to help but just the thought of the added responsibility). Remember, with all this money, people are looking at you!
You will also meet new people, people out of your usual circle. You get out of your 'comfort zone'. For those looking for true love, do you fear "gold diggers" may come looking for a bounty? Do you feel like a target? Does all of this make you feel uncomfortable on the inside at some level?
The stimuli are money and success and the programmed response is fear. This is programmed from what you have seen and heard. All this is run by your subconscious mind, which has your experiences stored in its infinitely large database. After fear, the secondary response may be procrastination from taking action to generate this money, or listing of excuse after excuse as to why 'it won't work'. You may also be prone to seeing 'difficulty instead of opportunities'. The list is endless. Fear may also come in the form of fear of failure, which results in anger, frustration and desperation. Think about this. Would you buy from a relaxed confident sales man or a desperate salesman? We all know how annoying, desperate salesmen could be.
The self-saboteur in you will operate under the radar without you noticing a lot of times. With 95% of the vote, your subconscious mind runs the show.
2. FEELINGS OF LACK AND UNWORTHINESS
Feelings of inadequacy hold back too many people from too many accomplishments. When you sit around people with money and success, how do you feel? Do you feel... unworthy? Do you start thinking about what you don't have? What you haven't accomplished? Do you feel like a lesser being, a failure? Do you feel poor? Other people pick these 'vibes' and respond to them. How many times have you seen or heard of people getting promoted simply because they 'acted the part'? This is where the phrase 'Fake it till you make it' comes from. When you feel wealthy and successful, you will act wealthy and successful. Eventually, you will be wealthy successful. It is not the other way round. This is called the 'Be-Do-Have Principle'. You have to be wealthy (feel), do the things that make you wealthy (action) and eventually have wealth.
So again the stimuli are making money and achieving success, the programmed response is 'I'm not worthy'; 'I'm a failure'. The secondary response is lack of confidence, lack of enthusiasm and lack of creativity. Your actions will be a result of these self-defeating assertions and of course the eventuality is failure, no matter how much you want success.
3. ASSOCIATING 'MAKING MONEY' WITH NEGATIVITY
Here is a good test that I have also done. Look for a picture of stacks of cash. What thoughts come to mind? Bank robbery? Drug dealers? Criminal dealings? Greed? Do you have some feelings of repulsion perhaps? What do you think of rich people? Do you think they have bad attitudes? Are they snobs?
When I first did this test, I thought of a bank robbers and drug dealers in movies. This is what I have been exposed to growing up. This is what my mind has been fed. Such a lot of money was always associated with something negative. Things that come to mind may include stories you have heard about lives ruined and families torn apart after making a lot of money. What all this is saying to you is 'MONEY IS BAD!" All this is stored in your subconscious mind. Again, the stimulus is making lots of money, and the programmed response is, ruined lives, torn families, changed person etc. If its something you find undesirable, your subconscious mind will go to work to 'protect you' from it.
LET GO OF THE BLOCKS AND START MAKING MONEY
If the subconscious mind was programmed to block money, you need to reprogram it to allow you to make money.
This is how you can do that...
Affirmations - Repetitive input of negativity led to it being perceived as reality by your subconscious mind. To reverse this, you need to repeat positive affirmations to yourself about yourself and your environment until the programming changes. You can also get recorded affirmations that you can listen to daily. Even if you don't concentrate on them, they still slowly shift the subconscious programming.
Gratitude - Gratitude creates a paradigm shift. By being grateful for what you have, you take away the feeling of lack. You can't feel successful and feel lack at the same time
Surround yourself with positive people - This is self-explanatory. Negative people feed you negativity and positive people give you the right 'programming'.
Emotional Freedom Technique - I strongly recommend this. It is often called 'awake hypnosis'. It is an acupressure technique that combines affirmations and tapping of bio-energy meridians of the body to reset bioenergy and reprogram your subconscious. It's very simple. I would recommend reading on this first so you are fully aware of what it is.
Take charge of your subconscious programming, your life and start making money!!!

Creating abundance

Why do you suppose some people seem to "have it all" and others struggle and always fall short? If I told you there is a secret to learning how to be included in the "have it all" category would you be interested in hearing it? The funny part is that it really isn't a secret at all. We've heard others allude to it since we were kids. Do these phrases sound remotely familiar?
Ask and ye shall receive
Your wish is my command
Be thankful for what you have
The biggest part of success is attitude
Accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative
Believe and you will prosper
These are all statements that connect with The Law Of Attraction. So....what's that?
The Law Of Attraction means that we attract what we pay attention to. If we continually think about the negative, the things we don't have, the things that are going wrong in our lives, then that's what we'll get more of. Why? Because that's where we're focusing our energy. We are, as you've read in Desiderata, "a child of the universe." We are sources of energy in this universe just as any other source of energy. We improve our chances of success as we use our energy to promote the positive rather than the negative. If you want to have something, focus your energy on the positive - on having it and all that it means to you to have it.
Try this strategy:
Take a few minutes in a quiet spot with no distractions. You may wish to play some soothing music to put you in the mood to relax.
Feel gratitude for what you DO have. Be thankful - it could be, and it has been, worse.
Write down what you want.
Visualize having it.
Feel like you have it. Really allow yourself to "feel" what it would be like to have it. Stay in that moment for awhile, enjoying it, feeling as though you have what it is you want.
Do this 2-3 times each day. One of the times should be at bedtime, just before you go to sleep. At bedtime recall with your thoughts the thing you want, visualize it, feel it and drift off to sleep.
You will begin to see your life change. You will see more positive come into your life because you are using your energy to "attract" more positive. I invite you to try it for awhile. See your life change.
Remember: Change your thoughts and you change your destiny.

Creating Money Using the Law of Attraction: Why Most People Fail!

When creating money with the Law of Attraction, many people are led to believe that if they say a few money affirmations or a particular wealth affirmation over and over again, they are building the foundation for wealth. However, many times there is a key element left out of their practice of the Law of Attraction and this article discusses this key ingredient to making the Law of Attraction work consistently.
While many people "sell the Law of Attraction" as a magical potion or as one of the more creative ways to make money, creating money from nothing takes a bit more than just reciting money affirmations, learning how to attract money or using the Law of Attraction for money goals that are not in line with our deeper commitments and beliefs.
The key term here being "Commitment." Why? Because there is a magic to the energy of commitment that, if you use it, it will make the Law of Attraction work consistently for you.
Why is this? I think Goethe says it best:
"... the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way." ~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

What does this mean exactly? That commitment has a certain "energy about it" to which the Law of Attraction responds and "energy is key" when creating money using the Law of Attraction.
In fact, energy is key when trying to manifest anything with the Law of Attraction, but is frequently missed because people are so focused on reciting money affirmations or doing other "intellectual" ways to invoking the Law of Attraction, which have "hit and miss" results. This can be frustrating and is why many people give up before reaching their goals.
If you want to get the Law of Attraction's attention, you want to speak to it "energetically" and commitment is one of the key energetic ways of enlisting the Law of Attraction's help to manifest money and discover the secret of wealth that comes from having a deep sense of certainty inside of yourself because you know, without a doubt, that you have found the true power for making the Law of Attraction respond to your "every whim."

Commitment is especially key when creating money using the Law of Attraction because just like learning to ride a bicycle, there are things to learn about how to attract money using the Law of Attraction, which means there is a learning curve to building the foundation for wealth.
Staying committed throughout the learning curve of learning how to manifest money is how money is created because as you get better at learning the art of the Law of Attraction through your continued commitment to learning the process, you get better and better at creating money.
Sadly, though, many people lack the belief and commitment to stay the course and give up when they are "three feet away from the prize" because they don't realize how important commitment and self-responsibility are to making the Law of Attraction work.

Commitment is also important because it gives you that internal "nudge" to keep you going, while at the same time "nudges" the Law of Attraction to keep going for you.
Suffice to say that once you are committed to making something happen, it usually does happen... no matter what. Especially if you keep the "no matter what" in mind. Another great quote I've heard about commitment is:

"Whatever it takes, for as long as it takes, no matter what." ~Joe Neid

Many people fail to make the Law of Attraction work for themselves because they are not guided to "stay consistent throughout the learning curve" or to use energetic techniques in place of the more common intellectual techniques. Having a deep sense of commitment makes things happen energetically, whether you are intellectually "thinking about your goals" or not.
While there are other energetic means of making the Law of Attraction work, when creating money using the Law of Attraction, it is essential to use the "energetic signature" of staying committed to your goal because it is through energetic means such as this that the Law of Attraction responds... no matter what.

Stay Motivated in the Game

Why You Should Never Give Up

Do you ever feel like you are running on empty and can’t encounter one more obstacle – that you just want to give up?
I know how your commitment can be tested time and time again and how it is almost easier to turn your optimism into pessimism when you wake up day after day without seeing the change that you hope to have seen by this point in your life.
It can be almost debilitating to your psyche and spirit to face the reality that all of your hard work seems to have counted for nothing - am I right? This can easily enough be a reason to throw in the towel and call it quits, but stop right there – will you?
I want you to think about why you started. I want you to think of what you’re after and how much your dreams mean to you. Perseverance leads to the passion that you put behind every day activities, after all. If you’re anything like me, I bet you swore to yourself that you would die trying – so why are you even going to entertain the thought of quitting?
When we reach the point on our path when our truth is tested and it seems as if all of our struggle will never turn into success, we must ask ourselves some questions.
What led you to this moment? What's your biggest motivator? What is success – anyways? Are we plugged into what society calls success or our own personal value system? And what do you see for yourself – what are your soul’s dreams?
When we can break down our anxieties into simple questions, we can experience a deeper understanding of why we began in the first place. We are then able to remember that the perserverance within gives us the ability to overcome set back after set back and allows us to dig deep into our personal well of power and give it all we’ve got. This understanding reiginites the flame that fuels us and we find our spirit kicked into re-start.
So, can I tell you something? What you are after is what you deserve – and your frustrations and anxieties while hitting a road bump don’t define you. If anything, you should let them redefine you.
You started what you’re after for a reason and I don’t ever want you to lose sight of this simple truth. Keep it in the back of your mind as you’re paving the road with experience.
Experience is the pavement of your own sidewalk to personal freedom. And your perserverance has gotten you right here, right now.
Don't ever back down from your truth,

Turning On The Positive, Turning Off The Negative

We all have a positive and negative subconscious and its up to us how we choose to use both of them.
They are both very obedient and will do whatever is asked of them.
If you choose to use the negative subconscious and this can be in the things you say or think.
I'm having a bad day
I hate this job
My car is a wreck
I'm not happy with my partner
I don't have enough money
All these are negative statements that your subconscious will go to work on because it is so obedient and will deliver more of these things to you.
If you change these statements slightly to make them positive:
I'm having a good day
I like parts of my job
My car gets me from A to B
I intend to be happy with my partner
I have enough money and I'd like more
You will start to get more of them. It's only a case of making a small change to what you say and what you think, you have to remember that what you say and what you think is what you attract.
Being mindful of what you say and what you think is key, because these are the things you will attract more of and if you want to attract more money you have to talk and think that more money is coming your way because that is what you will attract. If you say and think 'I haven't got enough money that is what you will attract.
If you find yourself thinking 'I hate my job', noticing it is the first stage and that's good that you have noticed that you have thought a negative thought. If you really do hate your job, find something even if its really small to like about your job. The more things you can find to like about your job, the more things for you to like will appear until eventually you can say 'I like my job'.
Sometimes if you are having a really bad day you might want to try lying to yourself and pretending your life is very different, I do this a lot. I go into a daydream and imagine I have everything I want, all the money I could possibly need, luxury goods, fancy car, swimming pool, all the usual things that people dream about. And its great to do that because it moves your subconscious to acting into bringing those things to you, and it makes you feel great and gets you out of the bad day syndrome!
Accessing your positive subconscious is very much like building muscle, the more you use it the bigger it gets and the smaller the negative muscle gets. So learn to use your positive subconscious everyday to get the results you want. Don't forget your subconscious is very obedient and it will deliver whatever you ask, you just have to remember that you are asking, by what you say and what you think.

The Power of Habit: Four "Rich Habits" That Make the Difference Between Rich and Poor

How can a simple thing like rich habits make a difference between rich and poor?
It's taken me most of my life before I realized that there actually is a reason behind the difference between rich and poor, and that reason actually begins with "rich habits" of the wealthy.
I used to think that life just "happened to" us, and we have no control over what becomes of us.
But after learning more about the Law of Attraction, it is clear to me that not putting the power of habit in my life - rich habits, that is - could have been the reason why most of my life was spent living paycheck to paycheck, just hoping for enough money to put food on the table.
I remember when I used to go to the grocery shopping on Wed so I could write a "rubber check" that I knew wouldn't clear until my paycheck hit the bank on Friday. And my habits in those days? Nobody in their right mind would judge my daily habits as rich habits! Just the act of planning to cash my check before the money was there was probably the first no-no, as it was screaming "lack" to the universe.
Why are rich habits so important?
Ask yourself if these four rich habits are part of your daily routine. If not, try to imagine how your life might be different if you just started to follow these four steps...
1) Positive affirmations.
Your brain can actually be fooled into "thinking rich" once you make the habit of daily affirmations. It's weird, but the brain has a way of believing whatever your physiology tells it to... so when you affirm in a strong, confident voice that you feel good about what you're doing and you're certain of a positive outcome, your brain follows through because it doesn't want to make you a liar.
2) Incantations.
Incantations are powerful! Even the great Tony Robbins never goes on stage without incanting to himself over and over that this performance IS going to be extremely beneficial to his audience and people in the audience will experience transformations that will lead to helping others.
As Tony says, why leave something important up to chance when you can be sure it will be a success simply by stating incantations beforehand?
I have to admit, I hadn't even heard of this technique before, but I REALLY wish I would have known about this cool technique of assuring success. Since I've been practicing incantations, I must be carrying myself with more confidence, as the people around me - colleagues, family members, and even strangers are treating me with more respect.
(Remember Henry Ford lived by the words "I Can"Henry Ford live by the words "I Can")
3) Change your vocabulary when you're describing yourself.
People tend to use exaggerated adjectives in an effort to make themselves sound significant. You know what I mean, don't you? You've heard people say, "I feel like I've been run over by a truck", or "My speech is so retarded", or "That guy made me livid"... remember, your brain follows whatever your physiology leads it to.. And your speech is the first part of your physiological makeup.
Recent studies have proven that when you replace the exaggerated adjectives with more realistic terms, that you feel better emotionally..
For example... "I feel like I've been run over by a truck" replace with "I'm feeling a bit tired today", or "my speech needs a little more practice" instead of "my speech is retarded", or "that guy got me peeved", instead of "that guy made me livid". I recently heard a friend of mine describe herself as a retard with math. Her brain probably would not allow her to add 2+2 with that description!
Try this experiment yourself...
If you have a problem with anger, for example, try replacing the word livid or angry with concerned - and watch how your feelings follow. And, of course, your actions will follow your feelings.
4) Read daily.
When I first became a part of the online marketing program that teaches people how to make money online, one of the core commitments to start making money is to read daily.
"Read daily? That's silly, I don't have time for that", I thought... as I continued to stay broke.
After breaking down and listening to audio recordings daily, which did help some, I now am convinced that reading daily in addition to listening to personal development audios makes a significant difference on the mindset. The thing is that, when you read, you're forced to focus more, and this will ingrain the new ideas deeper within your psyche as opposed to listening, since most of us tend to just listen with half an ear while we're doing other things.
And what's more... When you combine personal development audios with reading and blogging, then your take what you've just learned and post it in a form to help others, a really cool way of growing both spiritually and intellectually evolves. Blogging is a great way to discover your own passion.
Would your life be different today if...
What if you decided to keep yourself loaded with positive personal development audios to change your poor habits to rich habits? How would your life be different if you started following these steps that rich people seem to do automatically?

The Importance and Value of Daily Affirmations

Daily affirmations are the positive statements that we say to ourselves to emphasize on a positive idea. These thoughts may seem like simple statements but they can really help you change your entire outlook and attitude towards life. When you repeat these positive affirmations, it will be easy for you to replace your old, ineffective and unhealthy thoughts with new and empowering ones.
Negative thoughts most often bring about negative situations in your life. Have you ever wondered why the "sad" people will always seem "sad" and the "happy" people always seem happy? The fact is when you are negative, it may be difficult for you to take on some challenges or even opportunities. The fact that you miss these opportunities may make you even more depressed. This becomes a cycle which may lead to so many negative results in your life.
It is therefore important to reinforce your negative thoughts by replacing them with positive affirmations. Your attitude will contribute a significant percentage to your success. Daily affirmations will help you to daily work on having a winner's attitude. It will easily bring about a string of successes which will contribute more to your positive attitude.

Daily affirmations will help you to keep stress at bay. We mostly get stressed when things do not go our way. If you have a mantra that says "Today will be a great day, I will celebrate my successes and learn from my failures", you'll start taking on failures as challenges. Despite the fact that you'll be stressed when something bad happens, the level of stress will be significantly less as compared to the times when you don't affirm yourself daily.
In life it is always important to look at the bigger picture. Whatever happens to you today is connected to the success that you may have in future. Being left by a partner or losing a job may help you end up with the right partner or job. Therefore, daily affirmations can serve as a constant reminder that you shouldn't just look at what's happening now. They will help you look at past challenges that you have overcome and make you encouraged by the fact that you can overcome whatever comes your way and even make the most from it.
When thinking about these affirmations, think about your goals in life in relation to where you are. Make some goals and write down some affirmations that will help you achieve your goal no matter what. Remember that a positive attitude can speed up your success and a negative attitude can mess it up.

Daily affirmations will help you to always stay focused on the end result. The best way to use affirmations to achieve specific goals is simply using affirmations that state your specific goal. For example, today I will write five more chapters.
